COURSE INFORMATION

A fast and flat loop course with a net elevation gain of 161 feet.
This course is certified by USA Track & Field.
Time Limit:  4 hours

START LINE

The start line is at Tecolote Shores Park: 1344 East Mission Bay Drive. 92109

START TIMES

Half Marathon:  6:30 a.m.
10K:  7:15 am.
5K:  7:30 a.m.

Gear Check is available near the start line.

FINISH LINE

All races finish at Tecolote Shores Park South (same location as the start)
1344 East Mission Bay Drive. 92109

COURSE SUPPORT

Course support location info will be posted soon.

Course monitors will be located on the routes.

Pacers will be also be available on course during the race, courtesy of Run Pace, for the following time goals:

1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00

RESTROOMS

Porto-Johns will be located at mile 2, 3, 5, 8, 10

Public restrooms will be located at mile 3.5, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11. Note that we will stock the public restrooms with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

There will be a medical tent staffed with trained emergency personnel at the start line, at the finish line and in the expo area of the event. There will also be medical staffing at various locations along the course. Ambulances will be located at the start line, on the course, at the finish line and in the expo area.

There will be mobile medics called Race Guards roaming the course throughout the race. If there is a medical need on the course, please let one of the course monitors or a volunteer at one of the aid stations know as soon as possible and they will call for medical assistance. Each participant is responsible for his or her own health insurance.

COURSE SAFETY RULES

If you wear earphones, wear ones that allow you to hear your surroundings.
No dogs, skates, bikes, scooters, etc. on the courses.
Baby joggers and walkers, please line up at the back of the start corrals.

BIB PICK UP

BIB & SHIRT PICKUP

Bib Pick Up will be available on April 12 from 4 – 7 p.m. and April 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Location will be announced soon. If you’re picking up a bib for a friend, you will need a copy of their ID.

If you are unable to attend a bib pick up event in person, you may purchase Will Call pickup for a $15 fee.

FINISHER MEDALS

 

All finishers who complete the race will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.

 

WINNER AWARDS

 

The top 3 overall male and female half marathon finishers will receive a winner award.

 

AGE CATEGORY AWARDS

 

Be sure to check the Results Tent in the Finish Festival.  Age Category awards are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, male/female, in the categories listed below.  Please collect your award at the Awards tent on race day.
13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+
